On the first of July, 2019 at 09:00 the fifteenth round of Unified National Examinations started in Georgia.
Up to 41 000 applicants have been registered at 23 exam centers in 11 cities.
Each center is equipped with air conditioning system and reliable electronic infrastructure. A team of doctors, fire brigades and police officers are ready to assist each applicant at the door in case of an emergency.
It is highly recommended for each applicant to be present on time during exams and bring ID as well as an exam card. Doors are closed strictly after registration and no late applicant is allowed without any exceptions.
The Unified National Examinations has been established in 2005 by the Government of Georgia. The National Assessment and Examinations Center developed the assessment model. The system is based on fair, transparent, unified, meritocratic principles, and enables the selection of the best entrants for institutions of higher education. Unified National Exams provide standardized selection based on the assessment of skills and knowledge. The highest scoring students are provided Government study grants.
Several types of exams are being carried out in July including University Entrance Examinations, Teachers' Professional Qualifying Examination, Students' Grant Competition and Masters' Graduate Entry Examinations. All of those exams are computer based and will conclude on the 23rd of July 2019.
